Developer Licenses

A FlagShip license is required for application development only. Each license is for one specific platform, and one specific Unix type. The price of a license covers the FlagShip compiler, library, documentation and utilities. The developer's license apply for one programmer (developer), additional group licenses are available upon request. With the developer's license, any number of applications can be created. To accomodate various budgets for development and testing, two license options are available (Personal FlagShip and FlagShip Pro). Apart from the flat license fee, no other run-time fees or royalties exist.

FlagShip Pro is intended as the regular license kit for software developers who will resell their executables, and for large inhouse systems, accessed simultaneously by any number of users. Therefore,

• The application supports an unlimited number of simultaneous processes or users (or a limited number of users upon request),
• The developer may sell the application compiled by FlagShip Pro as often as he likes, since
• You may distribute applications/executables created by the FlagShip Pro license w/o any restrictions.
• No run-times fees or royalties exist.
• Of course, neither the FlagShip compiler, nor cc is required on the customer's site, but the executable only.
• You may order the Pro License now.

• Personal FlagShip supports the execution of the same application or allows access to the same shared database by two different users (or processes) simultaneously.
• Since used "personally" or in-house, executables need to run on the system (computer) where the FlagShip compiler resides.
• Therefore, you may not distribute applications/executables created by the Personal FlagShip license to third parties.
• There are no run-time licenses or other limitations. You may upgrade to FlagShip Pro at any time.
• You may order the Personal License now.

• may be used strictly for personal, non-commercial purposes or education,
• cannot be used for company in-house purposes where the commercial Personal or Pro license is required,
• the produced executable(s) may not be sold, but may be passed to anyone for free (see para 5.c of the FlagShip License Agreement for details),
• has no run-time licenses or other limitations.
• You may download the Free Personal FlagShip now.

• Visual FlagShip 6.x Evaluation License
• The compiler and with it produced executables run for 30 days
• An Evaluation key for testing purposes is available for free
• The executable produced by this Test drive cannot be distributed.
• FlagShip 4.x Demo for commercial Unices
• The compiler and with it produced executables run for 30 days, but may be freely reinstalled again.
• The produced executable has a 1 hour run-time limit and supports four users simultaneously, the execution speed is reduced.
• Any number of records are supported, but only the first hundred records are writable.
• The executable produced by this Demo cannot be distributed.
• You may download this free Test Drive now.

Our general business conditions are valid for all shipments. Shipments are usually made from stock. Payment in EUR by credit card (Visa, Mastercard, Diners, Amex), bank transfer, or COD if possible. Please call or e-mail for shipping charges worldwide via airmail or by courier services (UPS, FedEx, DHL etc.).

For EU countries: please add 19% VAT (value added tax, MWSt) to above net prices, or forward your EU VAT ID number.
For Germany: alle Preise sind netto zuzüglich 19% MWSt.

The price is a one time fee for a single platform developer license of the FlagShip compiler, library and on-line documentation for one specific version of the UNIX or Microsoft Wndows/Vista operating system. No additional run time fees or limitations are set for applications which are developed with FlagShip. Prices for source code licenses are available upon request.
