Test drive of FlagShip for Linux ELF and GlibcThis is a free test version of FlagShip for Linux ELF and Glibc, release 4.48. You should use it only when the file /lib/libc.so.6 is available on your Linux system and the /lib/libc-2.1.1.so is not (e.g. with RedHat 5.x, SuSE 6.0-6.1, Debian 2.x etc), otherwise use the Test drive for FlagShip for Linux ELF and Glibc-2.1 or Test drive for FlagShip for Linux ELF and Libc package. See also requirements and additional details. A full version is available too.
How to download and install this release:
- Download the complete package at once in binary mode (shift + left mouse in Netscape): fsdemo_lix6.tgz = gzipped tar including the .rpm file (7.2 MB). Alternatively, you may also use the ftp download where also splitted files are available.
FSuninstall
- Uninstall (all) previous FlagShip versions, if any:

rpm -qa | grep -i flagship # e.g. FlagShip-eval-4.42-5448
rpm -e FlagShip # or: rpm -e FlagShip-eval-4.42-5448tar xvzf fsdemo_lix6.tgz
- Install this FlagShip release:
vi README
rpm -i FlagShip-eval-4.48-6451.i386.rpm #release
Note: When you own non-rpm based system (like SlackWare, Debian etc.), you may convert the .rpm file to .tgz format by using the rpm2targz script and then un-tar the produced file from / (root) directory with root or su permissions and then execute /usr/bin/FSinstallFor strictly personal and education use, there is also a unrestricted (2-user)
- Read the displayed info and additional docus in the /usr/FSsrc/docu directory after installation
